The Reports page in your CRM offers valuable insights into your contacts and your interactions with them. Understanding these reports can help you find bottlenecks in your sales process and identify communication issues.
You can use the filters at the top of the page to focus on a specific segment of your contacts. Filters work together, so you can combine them for a more detailed view. To reset all filters, click Clear All at the bottom of the filter menu.
Filter by Contact Details: Use the drop-down menu in the top-left to filter by:
Assigned To: Show contacts assigned to specific users.
Contact Status: Display contacts with a certain status.
Contact Type: View contacts of a specific type.
Filter by Date: Use the date filters in the top-right to choose a time period. You can select a pre-set option like "last week" or choose a custom date range.
You can switch between a simple list or a color-coded graph for each report. Just click the ⋮ icon in the top-right of any panel to change the view.
Total Contacts: This report shows the total number of contacts in your CRM over time. Hover over the graph to see how many contacts you had on a specific date.
Contacts by Type: This panel shows the total number and percentage of each contact type you've created. This helps you understand how your contacts are categorized.
Contacts by Status: This report shows your contacts organized by their current status. Use this to see where your contacts are in your sales funnel.
Contacts by Source: This report displays the number and percentage of contacts from each of your contact sources, so you know where your leads are coming from.
Projects by Status: This report gives you a breakdown of your projects by their current status.
Deals by Status: Similar to the projects report, this shows the number and percentage of your deals by status.
Communications Logged: This report provides a breakdown of how you and your team are communicating with your contacts.
If you want to add a new contact type, status, or source, go to the Settings menu at the top of the page. From the left sidebar, select the appropriate option to make your changes.
You can use these filters and reports to gain specific insights. For example, if you want to see how a specific account manager, like Steve, is communicating with his customers, follow these steps:
Filter your contacts by Assigned To and select Steve.
Use the date filter to choose last 30 days.
Scroll down to the Communications Logged panel.
You can now view a breakdown of all communication Steve has had with his contacts over the past month.
