Edit Store Labels

Customizie Storefront Text with the Store Label Editor

The Store Label Editor allows you to customize the default text (Store Labels) that appears in your online store's storefront. This helps you match your branding or customer preferences—for instance, changing "Featured Products" to "Hot Deals" or "Sold Out" to "Unavailable."

This editor applies to all customer-facing elements of your store, including product pages, categories, the shopping cart, and navigation.

Alert
Note: This guide walks through changing the text that appears in the embedded storefront controlled by the Shop app. To change text elsewhere on your website outside of the embedded storefront, navigate to the Pages tab on your Websites dashboard.

Change Wording with Custom Text

You can replace default text labels in your storefront with custom text in just a few clicks. If your store is multilingual, you can customize the text for each language separately.

  1. From your shop dashboard, go to Settings → Edit Store Labels.

  2. Click + Get started.

  3. In the search field, enter the default text you want to change (e.g., Add to bag, On Sale, or Featured Products).

  4. Enter your custom text into the corresponding field (e.g., HOT DEAL instead of On sale).

  5. If multiple search results have the same wording, change all of them to ensure consistency across all buttons or labels.

  6. For multilingual stores, select the text in the desired language and write your custom wording.

Note: Changes are saved automatically. To undo changes, click the three dots next to a field and choose Reset to default.

Removing Unwanted Text Labels

If you don't want a specific text label to appear in your storefront, you can hide it entirely by deleting the default text. For example, you can remove the "Featured Products" title so the products display without a heading.

  1. From your store admin, go to Settings → Edit Store Labels.

  2. Click +Get started.

  3. In the search field, enter the text you want to remove (e.g., Featured Products).

  4. Delete the label value so the field is left empty.

The text will no longer be visible in your store. To restore the default wording, click the three dots and choose Reset to default.

Special Note on Order Comments

To update the name of the Order Comments section, use the built-in settings found in Settings → Cart & Checkout tab, not the Store Label Editor.
