You can easily manage your website pages in the Pages view of your Websites app. Here, you can remove, reorder, duplicate, or edit a page's visibility.

Delete a Page

Note: Deleting a page also deletes any nested pages within it. If you want to keep a nested page, you need to move it first. Tip: If you need to save a page for later we recommend saving the content by hiding or turning the page invisible, rather than deleting it entirely.

  1. In the Pages view, find the page you want to remove.

  2. Click the overflow menu on the right and select Delete.

  3. Confirm your deletion. Since there is no undo button, make sure you want to delete the page before you click Yes.

Duplicate a Page

Duplicating a page creates an exact copy. You can then edit the new page without affecting the original.

  1. Find the page you want to duplicate.

  2. Click the overflow menu on the right and select Duplicate page.

  3. Click Yes to confirm.

Your new page will appear directly below the original with the same title. It has its own style settings, so any changes you make will not affect the original.

Hide a Page

Hiding a page is a great way to save content for later without deleting it. The page will not appear in your site's navigation.

  1. Find the page you want to hide.

  2. Click the overflow menu and click the Page visibility toggle switch. The switch turns gray when the page is hidden.

A small eye icon will appear next to the page title, letting you know it's invisible to your site visitors.

Rearrange Pages and Create a Dropdown Menu

Changing the order of your pages also changes the order of your site's main navigation. You can also create dropdown menus by nesting pages.

  • To reorder a page, click and hold the icon to the left of the page title. Drag it up or down to the position you want.

  • To create a dropdown menu, drag a page underneath another page. A downward-facing arrow will appear, and the page will be indented, showing that it is now in a dropdown menu.

  • To remove a page from a dropdown menu, click the upward-facing arrow to un-nest it.
