Edit Your Website Background

The Background settings in the Design panel let you choose a background to use for your website. You can choose a solid color, a gradient, or an image to use as your site's page background. This is a sitewide setting, so any change you make here will apply to every page on your website. You can override the background setting for a specific page in the Page Design settings.

To choose or change the layout of your website:

  1. Click Design at the top of your Websites app to open the Design panel.
  2. On the right-hand sidebar, navigate to the Sitewide tab and select Background.

 

You will have the option to modify the following settings:

Fill Type

Choose whether to have a solid color or a gradient as your site background.
Color Choose the color for your site background.
Background Choose Pattern to select a preset design pattern, or choose Custom to upload an image file.
