Manage Your Image Collection

The Image Collection is your central hub for managing all the images on your website. Every image you upload to a page is also saved here, giving you a dedicated library to organize, bulk-upload, or bulk-delete images with ease.

To access your Image Collection:

  1. Navigate to the Collections tab at the top of your Websites app.

  2. Click on Images.

Bulk Upload and Delete Images

The Image Collection is designed to make managing many images at once simple.

  • To Bulk-Upload Images:

    • Use the upload field in the top-left corner.

    • You can either drag and drop images or click the field to open your device's file manager.

    • Your newly uploaded images will appear at the top of the collection.

  • To Delete a Single Image:

    • Hover over the image you want to delete.

    • Click the overflow menu (three dots) in the top-right corner of the image.

    • Select Delete.

  • To Bulk-Delete Images:

    • Check the box in the top-left corner of each image you want to delete.

    • A red Delete button will appear at the top of the collection. Click it to delete all selected images.

Tagging and Searching for Images

Tags are a great way to organize your images and make them easier to find later. The tags you add will appear in a drop-down menu in the "Find images" search bar.

  • To Bulk-Tag Images:

    • Check the box in the top-left corner of each image you want to tag.

    • Click the Tag button that appears at the top of the collection.

    • In the pop-up window, enter your tag names and click Add after each one. When you're done, click Save.

  • To Untag Images in Bulk:

    • Check the box on the image(s) you want to untag.

    • Click the Untag button at the top of the collection.

    • Note: This action will remove all tags from the selected images.

  • To Search for Images:

    • Use the Filter images search bar in the top-right corner.

    • You can filter your search by primary color or by the tags you've added.

Note: You must click Load more on the bottom-left corner of the Image Collection to see additional images.

Adjust Sitewide Image Quality and Compression

You can fine-tune the performance of all images on your site by adjusting sitewide settings.

  1. Click the overflow menu in the top-right corner of the Image Collection.

  2. Select Settings.

  3. Use the slider bar to adjust the balance between image quality and page load speed. Sliding to the left will increase compression and speed, while sliding to the right will improve quality.

  4. Toggle on the Advanced option to edit individual compression settings for GIF, JPEG, PNG, and WEBP file types.

  5. Click Save at the bottom of the page when you are finished.
