Set Your Website's jQuery Version and Collections Library

Set Your Website's jQuery Version and Collections Library

On the Developer page in your Settings dashboard, you can change your website's jQuery version and enable a client-side collections library to provide access to the site's collections API.

To access the Developer page:

  1. Select the Settings tab at the top of your Websites app.
  2. Select Development on the left-hand sidebar.

Change your jQuery version

Navigate to the jQuery version section of the Development page, and open the dropdown menu to select a different jQuery version.

Note: Changing the version of the jQuery library included with your site is not recommended or supported: please only consider doing this if you have very specific needs (e.g., requirements of a custom plugin you're including) and can test your site thoroughly on various browsers and devices. jQuery versions will periodically be updated to the most recent patch/revision number for all versions available, without notice.

Enable Collections API

Navigate to the Collections Library section of the Development page, and click the toggle switch labeled Enable collections library to enable or disable the collections library to provide client-side access to the site's collections API.
