The process for adding new pages or posts to a UXi site is very similar. Both use UXi's expanded WYSIWYG (or What You See Is What You Get) Editor. For the full details on how to use each tool in the editor, check out this 'Using the WYSIWYG Editor' Help Article! Since there are slightly more steps involved in adding a post, that process is included in a screenshot below. Many steps are similar for creating a page. Step by step instructions for that process are outlined here.

Adding A New Blog Post

  1. Log-in to your UXi site, then from the dashboard, click the pin icon on the admin menu on the left to access your blog.
  2. Start a new post by clicking the Add New button at the top of the dashboard. You can also edit past posts by hovering over the post title, then clicking Edit.
  3. Give your new post a title.
  4. Add content to the post using the WYSIWYG editor. It is strongly recommended to use Visual mode unless you're familiar with writing HTML code.
  5. Add the new post to any appropriate categories. Each UXi site has a default post category set on UXi General Settings > Writing Settings.
  6. Add any appropriate tags to the new post. (optional)
  7. Add a featured image from your media library or computer. (optional)
  8. Don’t forget to publish your post when you are finished!
