Company Info

Every UXi® site uses the Company Information dashboard to publish information related to the business or organization's:

  1. Industry
  2. Address
  3. Contact Information
  4. Accepted Payment Options
  5. Business Hours

It is important to use this dashboard when entering this type of information. The info entered here is published with special markup.

What is Schema, you might ask?

" is a joint effort, in the spirit of, to improve the web by creating a structured data markup schema supported by major search engines. On-page markup helps search engines understand the information on web pages and provide richer search results. A shared markup vocabulary makes easier for webmasters to decide on a markup schema and get the maximum benefit for their efforts. Search engines want to make it easier for people to find relevant information on the web. Markup can also enable new tools and applications that make use of the structure."

In short, Schema helps search engines understand the information on web pages and provide richer search results.

  To get started, click UXi® Settings > Company Info.

Entering Company Info

As with any site, fill this info out using the info of the business or organization


Category notes which industry the business or organization will be listed in

Company Name is the name of the business

Address should include as much specific info as possible. However, UXi uses the Google Maps API, so for best results, the address should always result in a proper pin location when searching on Google Maps.

For example:

550 West Eisenhower Blvd, Loveland, CO 80537 displays an accurate pin.

550 West Eisenhower Blvd, Third Floor, Loveland, CO 80537 does not.

Custom Map Marker Pin is only used when the address cannot be accurately located with a map pin, common examples are if the map is not up-to-date in a new development or if a large shopping center shares a street address.  
If this is the case, simply:

  1. enter the valid address into
  2. This will give you a new pin that you can click to customize
  3. Copy/paste the resulting latitude & longitude codes to these fields on the UXi dashboard.

Contact Information includes fields for phone & email.

Enter the main phone number here, then select whether or not to display a click-to-call link in the mobile site header.

The main contact e-mail is entered next, then if needed, a label can be added to display as the text link.  For example, if the address to be linked is, a label of 'Email us' could be used to shorten the link from to Email Us.

Offered Payment Options includes checkboxes for the majority of common online payments.  Use The Custom Payments Label and Custom Payments Test to enter non-standard options like "We gladly accept: Bitcoin and Litecoin'

Business Hours allows custom hours of operation to be added for each day of the week. To add hours, first select which days the hours apply to, then enter hours.

The example business hours for weekdays and weekends shown above uses default options for Monday through Friday, and a custom Days Text label as well as custom 24 Hour Text for weekends.  
The result is highlighted in orange to the left.

Now it's time to log in and set up a new UXi site! The next step will be filling out the General Settings.

Using the UXi Company Information Widget

To put the company info to use on the site, use the the UXi® Company Information widget. Set font sizes and alignments, then select what information to show. Each section of the company info is optional with the 'Show' options. Use the 'Make Two Columns' option to display the business hours in a separate column to the left of the other company information.
