The Recent Posts widget is used to display a selection of the most recently added blog posts on any page. It's a useful tool to give users an easy option to access posts from a specific category or tag without having to navigate to the Posts Page. The widget will display an excerpt from the post, allowing the user to read the first part of the post, then click to view the full post.
