Create a TikTok Ads Manager Account

Ready to start running ads on TikTok? This guide will walk you through the steps to create your account, complete the necessary business information for review, and share your Ad Account ID with a partner.



1. Creating Your Account

  1. Go to the TikTok Ads signup page at https://ads.tiktok.com/i18n/signup/

  2. Create a login using an email address or phone number.

  3. After verifying your login and agreeing to the terms, click Sign Up.

  4. Enter the following basic details about your business:

    • Country/Region

    • Time Zone: Be careful, this cannot be changed later.

    • Business Name: This must be your company's legal name or very closely related to it. If it doesn't match, your account will not pass the review.

    • Currency

  5. Click Register.

2. Submitting Business Information for Review

Once your account is created, you'll need to provide more details to get it reviewed and approved.

  1. From your Dashboard, click your user icon in the top-right corner.

  2. Select Account Info from the dropdown menu.

  3. On the Account Setup page, enter your business information:

    • Company Website: Your website must function properly, contain all required contact information, promote a relevant product or service, and use the https://www. format to be accepted.

    • Industry

    • Street Address

    • State/Province

    • Postal code: The postal code for your business's registered address.

  4. Payment Type: Select either Manual Payment or Automatic Payment.

  5. Optional: Business Verification: You can upload a government-issued tax ID number. While not required for account creation, this allows you to access additional features like the TikTok Creator Marketplace and apply for ad credit programs.

  6. Click Submit. Your account will be sent for review, which can take up to 24 hours.

3. Share Your TikTok Ad Account ID

If you're working with a marketing agency, you can share access to your ad account through the TikTok Business Center.

  1. Navigate to your TikTok Business Center dashboard.

  2. On the left-hand sidebar, select Users > Partners.

  3. Click Add Partner and enter their Business ID.

  4. Click Next.

  5. Check the boxes for any ad accounts, catalogs, and pixels you wish to share with them.

  6. Click Finish.
