Add an Email Link to Your Website
Some hyperlinks are able to have a special syntax put before it in order to perform certain functions. One function of a link is to open the page viewer’s email software. Here is how you can add syntax before your link to get it to perform a certain action.
- Click Pages at the top of your Websites app, and select the Page you’d like to add the email link to.
- Highlight the text within the Description field, and click on the Hyperlink icon.
- In the URL field, type mailto: followed by the email address (see example below). Click Add to create the link.
