Create Social Posts from Blog Posts

You can repurpose your Blog Content into engaging Social Posts in just a few clicks! Learn how to create social posts from your blog posts in this guide.

Note: This feature is only available to accounts that have an active Social App. To add it, please contact your account manager or our sales team at (833) 203-9165.


Create Social Posts

To get started, visit your Blogs Collection.

*You can create posts for Published and Scheduled blogs only (not Drafts).

*You can create up to 4 posts per blog.


For a Single Blog Post

  1. From the Blogs Collection Page:

    1. Click the overflow menu beside the blog.

    2. Click “Create Social Posts”.


  1. From the Blog Editor

    1. In the Marketing Automations section, click “Create”.


For Multiple Blog Posts (Bulk)

  1. Use the checkboxes on the left to select the blogs.

  2. Use the Actions dropdown on the left.

  3. Click Create Social Post(s).


Finalize Creation

  1. A window will appear; choose how many posts to create (up to 4 per blog).

  2. Click “Create Posts”.

  3. A success banner will confirm the posts have been created.


Schedule Social Posts

The generated posts are saved to your Social App Content Library with the tag “Marketing360 Auto”.


You may schedule your social posts in multiple ways: 


Post Now (Immediately post your social post)

  • Click on the social post you created and review the image and text. Click on the overflow menu on the top right, and click “Post Now” to immediately post to your selected social profiles. 


Schedule Content (Schedule your social post for a specific date/time)

  • From the same view, select “Schedule Content” to schedule a specific time you would like to publish the post. 


Create a Queue

  1. You can also create a queue to automatically schedule social posts created via the blogs collection.
  2. To create a queue:
    1. In your Social App, navigate to Publish > Schedules > Queues.
    2. Click Create Schedule.
    3. When prompted, select Auto-Fill This Queue.
    4. Use the Content Tags drop-down menu to choose the tags you want your schedule to pull content from automatically. Make sure to choose Marketing360 Auto
    5. Click Save Settings

Blogs Collection Social Post Settings

You can change the default number of social posts created per blog.

  1. Go to your Blogs Collection.

  2. Click the menu in the top right corner.

  3. Select “Configure Collection”.

  4. Edit the number of social posts per blog (limit 4).


FAQs

What blog statuses can be used to create social posts? Published and Scheduled. 

When creating posts from Scheduled blogs, the social post will not appear in the social app until after it has been published. 


Why can’t I see this feature? 

This feature will be active for anyone using the Blogs Collection who also have an active Social app. Active = one social profile connected.
