Updating Your Top Rated Local® Business Details

Edit Your Top Rated Local® Business Location

Once you have claimed your Top Rated Local® listing, you can update your business details by logging in to your Marketing 360® account and navigating to the Reputation app.

Note: You must first claim your Top Rated Local profile to follow these steps.

View and Edit Your Business Location Details

  1. From the Reputation app, select Edit Location in the top-right corner of the page.

    • If you manage multiple locations, select the desired location from the drop-down menu to the left of the Edit Location button first.

  2. You will be redirected to the Locations Settings dashboard, where you can edit your location's details.

  3. When you are finished making changes, click Save Changes at the bottom of the page to publish them.


Updating Your Business Details

On the Edit Location page, you can update the following sections:

Basic Info

  • List your fundamental business information, including your business's name, phone number, category, and street address.

WarningCaution: Changing your Business Name will change your Top Rated Local® profile URL, so update any links pointing to it. It may also affect your Rating Score, so ensure all third-party listings are consistent.

Additional Info

  • Add descriptive details, such as your primary business email address, website link, and a description/bio.

  • You can also upload your logo and set your store hours.

Add a Custom CTA Button

You can override the default "Rate" button on your profile with a custom Call to Action (CTA).

  • Fill out both the Button URL and Button Text (up to 12 characters).

  • If both fields are filled, your custom CTA will display as the primary button, and the original "Rate" button will still display as a secondary option.


Choose to Show or Hide Your Profile

By default, your Top Rated Local® profile is public. You can hide the listing by clicking the toggle switch next to Top Rated Local® Profile Visibility.

Note: If you hide the profile, any direct link to your listing will show a "404 error."

Add Premium Business Info

You have the option to add "premium" business information, also known as "rich data," which appears on select third-party listing websites (like Google My Business, Yelp, and Facebook). This data can help improve your business's search ranking performance. More information about Premium Listings.

To unlock Premium Business Info, you need to subscribe to the Listings app on Marketing 360®. Click Activate Listings to get started.

Once activated, you can add details such as:

Additional AddressA more detailed description of where your business is located; for example "In Foothills Mall" or "3rd Floor."
Service AreaList which cities your businesses "serves" that are outside the city your business address is located.
Payment OptionsSelect all payment options customers can use at your business.
YouTube Video URLLink a YouTube video to your local profiles.
Featured MessageA "call out" message appears on many third-party sites. This is a great place to advertise sales or promotions.
SpecialtiesSelect additional descriptive categories to show what your business specializes in.
AssociationsList the professional associations that you or your business belong to.
LanguagesList the languages spoken by you or your employees.
Toll Free Phone/FaxAdd additional phone numbers to your profile.
Reservation URLLink the URL to the page or widget where customers can place a reservation.
Order URLLink to your online ordering page.
Android/iOS App URLAdd the URL link to the page on the Apple or Google Play Store where user can download your app.
Year EstablishedList the year when your business was started.
