Create a Facebook Business Page

You must have a personal Facebook profile to create a new Page. Follow these steps to create your new public Page:

  1. From the Pages section of your Facebook account, click Create new Page.

  2. Add your Page name (usually your business or brand name) and select a relevant category (you can select up to three).

  3. Add your Page’s bio (a short description of your business, optional but recommended) and click Create.

  4. (Optional) Add contact information, location, and hours of operation. Click Next.

  5. (Optional) Customize your page:

    • Add a profile photo (typically your logo).

    • Add a cover photo (the wide banner image at the top).

    • Edit the action button (e.g., "Book Now," "Contact Us").

    • Click Next.

  6. (Optional) Invite your friends to connect with your new Page to help jumpstart engagement. Click Next.

  7. Click Done to finalize the creation of your Page.

You will be required to use your mobile device for two-step authentication when you try to log in.

Ensure Your Facebook Page is Linked to Your Instagram Page

Ensure that both your Instagram profile and Facebook Page are set up as business accounts, not personal profiles.

Method 1: Connecting from Facebook

  1. Log in to your personal Facebook profile associated with the business page on your computer (not the mobile app).

  2. Select Pages from the left-hand sidebar.

  3. Select the Facebook business Page you would like to connect. (If the page opens without management options, click Manage Page at the top).

  4. Click Manage in the top-right corner of the page.

  5. On the left-hand sidebar, select Linked Accounts under the Your Tools section.

  6. Ensure Instagram is selected on the left. If no account is connected, click the Connect account button.

  7. Follow the on-screen prompts to log in to your Instagram account and complete the connection.

Note: If you see a "Review connection" message, click it and follow the steps to confirm or reconnect the accounts.

Method 2: Connecting from Instagram

  1. Log in to your Instagram account on your computer (not the mobile app).

  2. At the bottom of the left-hand sidebar, click More, then select Settings from the menu.

  3. Click to enter the Meta Accounts Center.

  4. Choose Connect a Facebook Page.

  5. Click Add accounts and select the Facebook account that owns the Facebook Business Page you want to connect to.

Your business Instagram should now be fully connected to the Facebook Business Page.
