Adding a Top Rated Local® review widget or badge to your website is an effective way to display your positive reputation and build customer trust. You can customize the widget's appearance, placement, and functionality.
Log in to Marketing 360®.
Open the App Bar drop-down menu and select Reputation.
To manage an existing widget, hover over it and click the pencil icon to edit or the vertical ellipses (⋮) to embed or delete it.
Click the blue New Widget button in the top-right corner to start.
Enter your domain: Include the full URL (e.g., https://websites360.com).
Select a Widget Type: Choose the visual style you want (e.g., Corner With Custom Text, Display Rating Score™, Large Reviews Widget).
Enter Header and Sub Header text: If you chose a widget type with custom text, enter your desired text here.
Identify the Mobile Widget Type: For corner and tab widgets, select the mobile display option you prefer (e.g., Pin Widget, Tab - Rating Score™).
Select a Business Type: This determines the text used in the widget (e.g., "Top Rated Local®" for local marketing).
Select a Left or Right position: This determines the screen corner where the widget will appear.
Select a Click Behavior:
Popup Modal: Displays the ratings and reviews in a pop-up window on your site.
New Tab To Your Profile: Opens your full Top Rated Local® profile in a new browser tab.
Select Popup Content: (If you chose Popup Modal) Choose whether the modal displays Show Reviews or Show Rating Sources.
Click the blue Save Widget button.
Once saved, you need to embed the widget's HTML code into your website's footer.
You can add the code directly to your website's Footer content or use Google Tag Manager. To add the code to your footer:
Open the Websites app and select Pages.
Under Global Content (top-right corner), click Footer.
Click the (+) button where you want to add the code.
Select HTML from the menu.
Paste the embed code into the new HTML block and click Save.
Troubleshooting: Turn Off Your Mobile Footer
If you have a custom mobile footer enabled, it can interfere with the widget's display. You can turn it off:
Select Settings at the top of the Websites app.
Select Mobile on the left-hand sidebar.
Scroll down to Mobile Footer and turn off the toggle switch labeled Use Custom Mobile Footer.
On the Widgets page, click the Embed button next to your widget.
Click Copy Embed Code.
Navigate to your website platform's editing suite and paste the code into the Footer script section of your website.
Edit: Hover over the widget name on the Widgets page and click the blue Edit icon. All configuration options are the same as building a new widget. Note: Once a widget is created, its embed code never changes, so you don't need to re-embed the code after editing.
Delete: Hover over the widget title, click the ⋮ icon, select Delete, and confirm your choice.
